Wolverton Manor Garden Fair

4th September & 5th September 2021

The Island’s Largest Garden Fair is returning this September and is offering a unique chance to see many Island animal attractions in one place! Wolverton Manor Garden Fair, whilst well known for hosting high-quality nurseries & gardenalia stalls, also welcomes many of our furry and feathered friends each year.

Wolverton’s ‘Hare Garden’ offers a hidden gem presenting an opportunity to see some of the delightful West Wight Alpacas, and a few of our furry friends visiting the IOW Donkey Sanctuary.
Haven Falconry join them in the ‘Hare Garden’, displaying their beautiful birds of prey, and showing two demonstrations of their birds, live in action, each day at 11am and 3pm.

On the Main Field you can find the IOW Poultry marquee filled with local birds of all shapes and sizes, you can admire their rare breeds and talk to the experts about how to best care for your poultry.
Ability Dogs 4 Young People’s demonstrations run throughout the day and you can also find our Snostoppin’ Huskies close by, offering the chance for many little ones to enjoy ‘hugging a huskie’.

The Garden Fair is a dog friendly event, all they ask is that dogs are kept on their leads and consideration is given to the other animals when going into the Hare Garden.
Local obedience group ‘Barking Mad’ host a fun dog show! They offer many fun-filled categories such as ‘Handsomest Mutt’, ‘Best bad hair day’, ‘Dog who looks most like its owner’ and a crowd favourite ‘Waggiest tail’. The dog show starts each day 3.15pm each day in the Country & Moat Field.

Wolverton Manor Garden Fair offers a range of live shows, re-enactments, children’s activities and displays running throughout the days, alongside their showground of over 150 garden and craft exhibitors showcasing their wares. You can find out more about who is exhibiting at our Garden Fair, in the Observers edition released Friday 3rd September.
